Taking a Break from School

Education

As college students, we all have one thing in common, no matter what we are studying: We all have a lot of stress on us. That’s why it’s important to find some way to take a break from schoolwork and destress.

College students find a variety of ways to destress. The most common way is probably partying — it’s hard to be in college and NOT party, particularly if you live in the dorms. Just as long as you make sure you keep your partying to a safe level, it can actually work wonders for your stress levels to hang out with friends and forget your troubles for a while.

Sports and extracurricular activities are another way that college students deal with stress. Golf is a popular pastime for college students, and the right golf training might even help you get a golf scholarship to an academy of golf, making your hobby one that pays for itself!

A lot of college students also have online hobbies that provide them with an outlet from the stress they experience in their lives. For instance, some students really enjoy online gaming, while others spend a lot of time socializing via social media.

Whatever your method of destressing, what’s important is that you have an outlet, so that you can relax and actually enjoy the experience of being in college!

Stress builds up so fast, you definitely have to find ways to get rid of it fast. I really like your golf idea! A couple hours outside with some friends chatting about everything is very relaxing. And no hangover to add to your problems later!

I find the best way to relieve stress in school is to do a little something to indulge yourself. Especially if you don’t have much time to be partying. Ordering in some food you really like or going out to see a movie is a great way to do it.

I may be crazy but I calm myself by getting the work done really fast. Even if it’s a project not due for a week I do it that night. That way it’s not hanging over me stressin me out. Then I seem to have more free time too.

I have been feeling my stress level sky rocketing lately. Summer school is a lot harder this year then it was before. I’m not a big partier but I may have to try it out cause its getting bad. Hopefully it works!

I don’t get stressed too often. I party a lot but I know my limits. If you start partying too much it will really just add to your problems with you feeling sick. If you can find your limit and don’t pass it you can relax easier.

I think it’s all about the little things. If you not let things bug you as much that helps. And find little things you like and do those when youre feelin down. Stayin chill about stuff is the best call.
