As more and more hospitals, pharmaceutical and medical supply companies, not to mention local medical practices are controlled by corporations, there is a growing need for medical administrators that will only increase as we get further into the 21^st Century. Like my brother said, if you don’t already have a lot of experience as a medical administrator, one of the best ways to prepare for this career path is through pursuing higher education. It’s great to have a Master degree in some type of medical specialty, which is what he has, but if you want a high-powered job working at a big corporation (like I do!), then you need to get a doctorate.

I was a little intimidated by the concept, but he said one of the best options for a doctorate is to get a Doctor of Health Sciences online degree.
